Some prefer to install an ultraviolet air purifier on their cold air return and another over their condenser coil (sometimes called A Coil). Now you can with just one ultraviolet air purifier, the CaluTech DSL (Dual Single Lamp).

The ease of installation ability is just another reason the ultraviolet air purifier is greater. Some furnace and air conditioning systems, or ventilation systems, did not allow enough room to install the traditional CaluTech Blue ultraviolet air purifier, but with the CaluTech DSL you can easily mount the power supply unit anywhere space permits, and mount the UV lamps where they need to be! The UV lamp boxes are only 1″ tall and 3″ square with enough cord to reach where they need to go.

The CaluTech DSL is an ultraviolet air purifier and sterilizer similar to the CaluTech Blue ultraviolet air purifier. The difference is flexibility. Now you can install the ultraviolet lamps where you want. The DSL (Dual Single Lamp) features two UV lamps that are detached from the regulated power supply unit allowing installation of each lamp in a separate location. Why buy two ultraviolet systems to get the air on the cold air return and the hot side when you can install one DSL?

Now you can sterilize incoming air flow on the cold air return plus sterilize air flow on the exhaust side! Mount one UV lamp on the cold side and mount one UV lamp over the air conditioning condenser coil to burn off mold, kill bacteria, and eliminate allergens, airborne pathogens, and viruses! Another option would be to install both lamps at the coil, or both in the return air duct.

Air Purification Systems can help tremendously with allergies!

There are a great number of people who have allergies. It seems the numbers are increasing all the time. Allergies are something that you can develop at any time in your life, at times those that are developed as adults are more difficult to deal with than childhood reactions. People can develop allergies to anything from foods, to animals to plants. They do tend to be seasonal, unless you are allergic to molds or dust, which are always around us.

There are many things that can be done in the home environment of a person with allergies to help them be more comfortable. For a person that is allergic to dust and other airborne particles remove carpets. Carpeting can trap all sorts of allergens. Also purchase a good air purification system. There are many quality ones on the market today. It does pay to research the air purification system well before purchasing. There are some systems on the market that work very well, however they make so much noise it is difficult to have them running when you are in the same room with them. The main thing you want to insure in purchasing an air purification system is that it is affordable to maintain. Many of the machines that use filters have to have them changed on a regular basis to work properly. If the filters are high priced running this particular machine can get expensive. Also check to see how large of an area the air purification system can handle. For some units you need to have more than one unit in bigger spaces.

There are air purification systems that allow you to try the product for a few days in your home prior to purchase. The sales person explains where to set up the machine to get the best possible results. A good system will provide results within twenty four hours. There will still be mold and mildew to kill after that time, but there will also be a noticeable difference. My husband and I purchased an air purification system to get rid of mold and mildew odors in the basement of our home. The odors are gone and the great side effect is that my husband no longer snores. The system has removed particulates out of the air that causes snoring. Also now that we have the system our neighbor, who is allergic to cats, can spend time in our house without out cats bothering him. The systems of today can work wonders in a short period of time.

It is essential to breathe safe and clean air.

I recently visited friends that have a new baby. I noticed something new about their home that I had never seen before. They had a few air cleaners around the house that seemed to make a huge difference in the air quality. She told me that they got them long before she knew they were having a baby, but thought they were a good thing to have around now that a little one was living with them. I thought it was a great idea, and I was so impressed that I thought I might have to go out and get some of my own.

I don’t really know where to look for air cleaners, but I suppose that you can get them anywhere. They told me that the ones they have are filtered, and the filters do need to be changed on occasion, but not as much as one would think. They assured me that they last a while and I won’t go broke changing the filters in the air cleaners, and that I will think it was the best money I had ever spent. I think I am going to take their word for it and get one that is similar to the ones that they have.

I won’t need more than one of these in my home. Getting a few air cleaners at this point would be a waste of money because I don’t have a lot of space. They had two in their two story home and said they were all they needed. I have problems with allergies, and I am hoping the air cleaners can help me out with this a little bit. It seems that they are worse than they were last year, so if a filtered system can help me out, I am willing to give it a try to see.

I think I will begin my search for air cleaners online because I don’t have a lot of time to shop around for them right now, and I want to get one as soon as I can. My allergies are already bad this year, and even my medication can’t seem to get them under control. I don’t imagine they are going to make things worse, so I want to get one soon. I have a good idea of what I am looking for, but even if I didn’t, there are plenty of sites online that cater to this very idea, and have a good explanation of each type of cleaner and how many or what size a home might need.
