KuddleKot ChiroBed — Orthopedic Dog Bed

The manufacturer originally designed this bed for their own treasured miniature Dachshund, Zeus. He was injured leaving his back legs immobile. An independent little dog, with no crate training, they struggled to confine him to the bed rest required as part of his recovery. Lifting him into his round, foam bed caused yelps of pain and much anxiety for “his human parents.” This brought them to design their own bed for Zeus. They tested the bed, refined the design, and sourced the best materials, consulted veterinarians, and market tested with retail pet industry professionals. Two years later — we present the ChiroBed™ to you and your loved companions!

The Kuddlekot™ ChiroBed was designed specifically for older companion animals with joint problems. Cats and Dogs find the Kuddlekot™ a comfortable bed. The unique design lies flat on the floor with a flat path on one side to make it easy for your older dog or cat to get into bed. Bolsters around the bed are nested to give support for lying in many positions. The upper bolster can be removed for conversion to travel/crate bed. The cover is soft, machine washable, 100% anti-pill poly fleece, or blue denim.

The five individual support pillows are filled with long strand fiber filling that doesn’t support the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew or fungi. With five individual pillows, the Kuddlekot™ won’t flatten and become uncomfortable for your little one. As pets age, accidents may happen, so each pillow is self-contained in a water resistant nylon shell that can be removed easily.

The bottom of the bed is made from “Slip-Not” anti-abrasion grip material, to prevent sliding on most surfaces. A strap is attached to the back of the bed and can be used to secure the bed in a crate.

• Bolster and bi-level traction pillow chambers are accessible with heavy duty #5 coil zippers.
• Pillow Fill is a special custom blended, long-strand fiber and does not support growth of bacteria, mold, mildew or fungi in normal use. All supports are filled by hand and digitally weighed for quality support consistency.
• Center Ground Pad filled with high density foam for joint and hip support, topped with soft layers of pillow fill for comfort.
• Bi-level Traction Pillow inserts and Center Ground Pad covered in a durable 150×150 denier polyester, ripstop fabric and treated with moisture resistant urethane coating.
• Flat path access. Base is Slip-Not™ anti-abrasion grip material. Water resistant. Washable. Same as used on gloves and slippers.
• Machine wash outer shell cold water and low temp or air dry. All pillow inserts wipe clean only - do not machine wash.
